Beta legal draft

Terms of beta use

Minimum viable terms for invited Lumivora beta testers using the browser version, installed app, or downloadable beta distribution.

Effective: 13 April 2026Beta draft v1
These terms are intentionally lean. They set the minimum operating rules for a founder-stage private beta rather than a polished public launch contract.

1. Beta access

Lumivora beta access is limited, revocable, and provided for product testing and feedback.

Using the browser version, installed app, or downloadable beta build means you accept these beta-use terms.

2. No production-grade promise

Lumivora is still being shaped. Features may change, break, move, or disappear without notice during beta.

Do not rely on the beta as your only record of critical work, and keep your own backups where the work matters.

3. Account rules

You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for the activity that happens through your account.

You may not share access in a way that defeats the invite-only nature of the beta.

4. Acceptable use

Use Lumivora for legitimate testing and real execution work. Do not use the beta to abuse the service, interfere with other users, or attack the platform.

You must not attempt to bypass rate limits, probe for unauthorized access, upload harmful material, or use the beta for unlawful activity.

5. Feedback rights

If you submit comments, ratings, product suggestions, or structured beta feedback, Lumivora may use that feedback to improve the product without owing compensation.

This does not make your private workspace public, but it does mean product feedback can be acted on freely.

6. Installed app and downloadable distribution

Lumivora may be distributed as an installable web app or other downloadable beta package. Device behavior can differ by browser, platform, or operating system.

You are responsible for using a supported device and for uninstalling the app or removing local data if you no longer want the beta shell on that device.

7. Suspension and shutdown

Lumivora may suspend accounts, remove access, limit features, or shut down the beta entirely if the service needs to change, if abuse is detected, or if the beta no longer makes sense to continue.

Because this is beta software, continuity is not guaranteed.

8. Warranty and liability

Lumivora is provided on an as-is, as-available beta basis, without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lumivora will not be responsible for losses caused by beta instability, data loss, feature changes, or interrupted access.

9. Privacy link

Use of Lumivora is also subject to the privacy policy, which explains how product, feedback, technical, and security data are handled during beta.

10. Changes to these terms

These draft terms may be updated as Lumivora moves from private beta toward broader release.

Continued use after an updated draft is published means you accept the revised beta terms.

These documents are minimum viable beta drafts for Lumivora's private testing phase. They should be tightened again before any broader public release.
